We know that the only way to ensure real flavour in food is to use quality ingredients. So every one of the ready meals that leaves our kitchen is free from artificial additives. Instead, they are packed full of fresh ingredients and authentic spices.
After all, the way we see it, there would be no point at all in spending so much time getting our recipes just right if we didn’t then use the very best ingredients to make them.
Take our spices, for example, we source all of our spices from a sister company in India – a business that makes sure the spices have been harvested at the best possible time and then grinds them for us themselves.
When we created our award winning pachino pasta, we didn’t just pop any old tomatoes in. We sourced and bought sundried pachino tomatoes from Sicily.
The same goes for our chilli. We’ve designed a chilli powder that gives the exact colour, taste and heat we want for our food. Nothing is left to chance. We source some very specific chillies for the mix: Bydagi chillies from Karnataka in the South, Kashmiri chilli from the North and Guntur chillies from the Andhra Pradesh region.
