Responsibilities:

Write technical
specifications for all customers
Complete all aspects of finished
product specifications to specific customer
requirements, within agreed timescales, and ensuring
brand standard compliance

Proof artwork and
packaging
Sign off artwork against customer
requirements and ensuring legal compliance, within
required timescales.

3. Conduct and challenge
cooking instructions
Manage NPD samples, conduct
cooking instruction trials against customer policy and
liase with external bodies for verification of these
trials, within agreed timescales.

Develop quality attribute sheets & Meal Component
Sheets
Conduct photography and tasting
sessions for the completion of quality attribute sheets
and meal component sheets. Manage the finished product
quality attribute sheets and related documentation.

Communication
Liase effectively with relevant
departments to obtain timely and correct information for
finished product specifications

Manage Customer Files
Maintain all customer files with
relevant documentation
-
Completion of support technical customer
documentation
Complete any other customer
technical information to specific customer requirements
to agreed timescales.

The major results expected of this job:
Shares
responsibility with the Operations Manager for
retrieving customer orders through EDI
Prepares
estimated weekly orders for customers where applicable
and liaises with the Production Director and the
Operations Manager for planning weekly production
Directs daily
Packaging production to ensure that orders are met in
full as far as possible and liaises with the Production
Director to ensure that there is sufficient cooked
product to meet orders
Liaise with the
Operations Director to plan production of frozen goods.
Maintain a
record of daily production and generate weekly, monthly
reports to monitor progress
Liaises with
the warehouse to ensure that adequate packaging stocks
are held in stock to meet orders.
Liaises with
the Operations Director and the Production Director with
regards to frozen finished product stock and daily
production planning
Proof checks
new packaging materials before placing final orders.
Plans staff
rotas to ensure that there is adequate number of staff
on shifts.
Maintains the
documented system pertaining to the Packing Department
and ensures that staff are aware of the same.
Liaises with
the Engineering Department as regards maintenance and
repairs to packing equipment.
Maintains
adequate stock of all operating supplies as required by
the Cartoning Department
Liaise with the
Quality Assurance Department and the Laboratory
regarding Quality Matters pertaining to the Packing
Department.
Responsible for
the laundry operations of the company
Identify and
organize training needs for staff
Occasional
liaison with other suppliers to ensure competitive
advantage
Oversee
logistics department
Relevant
knowledge of Employment Law and Corporate Law
Sound
understanding of all Health and Safety, Food and Hygiene
policies
Set agendas for
internal and external audits
Any other
reasonable work that is required to be carried out for

ROLE
Responsibility
for providing generalist HR support to the operation in
Greenford.
Responsibilites
Co-ordination
of the recruitment process at Greenford including both
permanent and temporary
recruitment and
management of the job offer process including reference
checks, ensuring
eligibility to
work in the UK etc.

Overseeing the
induction process for all new employees ensuring
appropriate training in Health and
Safety, Food
Hygiene and company policies and procedures is received.

Job Requirements
Ideally you
will be Full/Part CIDP qualified with previous
experience in a generalist HR role. You will
demonstrate good communication skills and an ability to
build strong working relationships. Well organised and
self-motivated, you will have a proven track record of
influencing others.

Manager, the successful candidate will provide a
comprehensive Occupational Service including: Medical
Screening for all new and existing employees, Food
Handler Compliance, First Aid Training, Health Advice,
Support/Advice on Accident.
Prevention/Investigation/Injury Management etc.,
Sickness absence monitoring/Employee Medical Reviews.
The successful candidate must be a
Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years post
qualification experience, must also hold a professional
qualification in Occupational Health, have experience in
delivering training and be computer literate.
Previous work experience in Occupational Health would be
desirable. This is a challenging position demanding
excellent organisation, planning and communication
skills and an ability to work with and through people to
achieve results.
Despatch Manager
Required for our Collet Way Site.
Ideal candidate will be responsible for the management
of goods in and out, maintenance of stock control
procedures, inter departmental liaison. Good IT and
communication skills are required, plus relevant
experience in this field, preferably in a food
manufacturing plant.
